It is a white wine made with the 100% Riesling grape variety (Klingelberger), a dry wine from the Moselle wine region (Germany). Made by Raimund Prüm, who works with his team to produce the best Moselle wines, in Riesling vineyards from indigenous plants, planted on steep slopes, with very deep roots, providing the vines with a low and scarce water supply , to produce low yields. The soils are rich in slate, on steep hills that prevent the use of machines, so today any work in the vineyard must be done by hand. The harvest takes place in late summer or early fall, until the grapes reach the appropriate level of maturity. Once in the winery, the Riesling bunches are carefully de-stemmed, followed by cold fermentation, which contributes to the production of high quality, fruity and mineral wines.
It is a more accessible and predictable white if we want a very Atlantic light wine, but with a mineral nuance and at the same time with a dense point of the trocken model of somewhat raisined grapes.
